This book was action-packed. The whole book was about different military groups fighting one another to get their hands on an invaluable prize. The problem was it was a bit difficult to visualize and keep up with battle scenes when all of them are described in mere words. Eventually i just gave up on keeping track of the scenes and just took everything at face value - not fantastic since i did not get a more personal insight into the characters? I reckon this book would be brilliant if it was turned into a movie!

Also, this book is apparently a sequel to Ice Station although it can be read as a stand-alone.
