  I've read mixed reviews of Austenland, but I'm glad I didn't let the negatives deter me from reading it. I thought it was a lot of fun and definitely something I will read again! This is the ultimate guilty pleasure for any female Austen fan out there. I found myself relating to Jane and it made me laugh. I listened on audiobook and the narrator really made the story come alive. I was even surprised by the twist that Shannon Hale threw in at the end. It makes me glad that there is no live role playing retreat for women who want to indulge in their Regency fantasies though (how embarrassing), but I did love reading about it!
