  I quite enjoyed this book, and found myself chuckling out loud on several occasions. The book is a collection of stories and essays by American humorist David Sedaris.

  The title story, "Barrel Fever," is a rather dismal story about an alcoholic, but most of the book is either laugh out loud funny or quite amusing. I'll be reading more of the work of David Sedaris.

I'm not really interested in reading about someone's experience with rectal bleeding, no matter how funny the story is. I like David Sedaris but this book was forgettable.
