  the joker's origin. the rape and brutal violence against babs gordon. the darkness. the tipping point of the batman is almost reached in this book. and alan moore lets us know how dark the joker really is.

  Moore is a genius!! :) It's amazing how a simple one-off can stir up so much emotion and sympathy for the characters. You cannot tell me you don't feel sorry for the Joker after reading this.
