Before I read this book I thought Roald Dahl was only a writer who writes imaginary stories, with happy endings always. However, I was too shocked after I read the first story in the book, the style of writing in his adult stories was totally different, so as the content, full of the things happened in the real world. What's more the scenes are always shocking, and I wonder, what made him change his mind and write those fabulous children's book? I am fascinated in reading it.
