Beyond Bullet Points is the best book about making presentations using PowerPoint I've ever read and the book I'll recommend when somebody ask me for a good reference in this field.
I think the two most important achievements of BBP are:
1. Integrates lots of theories and principles about public speaking, cognitive science and design in a practical way.
2. Offers a clear step-by-step guide to create a presentation in a story format with strong visuals that enhance the verbal communication.
Many blog posts or books about presentations tell us things like "Tell a story", "Use negative space", "Structure your presentation" and they give some hints and advices but we have to figure out how to do it exactly. BBP details all the process from the very beginning, when we create the storyboard with Word until the delivery of the presentation.
