I wasn't crazy about this book. It wasn't horrible but with so many good books like this right now this one really isn't worth a read until you've gotten through all of those. I didn't find the characters or their motivations believable at all. There were 4 times where the author suddenly threw in a big vocab word. I have no problems with big words but the rest of the language was pretty standard and it felt like the author grabbed for a thesaurus and picked something unusual on purpose. I'm not sure if I'll bother to read the next on in the series.
