A non-ending book
I love the world of the witchers. The four kingdoms sound really like the good old middle age from eastern Europe, plenty of darkness, racisms, fears, superstitions, corruption and power-hungry kings-and-queens. The journey of Ciri isn't so original, but perfectly match with world around her. So wha ... (continue)

good!!
Like in "The Last Wish" the main character is Geralt the Witcher, but differently from that book this one is the first of a 5-volume saga (The Wisher saga).
The works were originally written in Polish in the nineties and only this book is already available in English.

Like in "The Last Wish" the main character is Geralt the Witcher, but differently from that book this one is the first of a 5-volume saga (The Wisher saga).
The works were originally written in Polish in the nineties and only this book is already available in English.
The second part is expected to come in April 2011.
It will probably takes a lot of time to have all the five books translated.
This is really a shame since the first book is truly remarkable: a riveting reading with some lack of action but very promising for the incoming books.
Long waiting times lay ahead, Harry!!
