Things always get "western"
This novel could have been an easy five stars, and it was up until the last 20% of the story. Starting from the episode at the gas station the plot loose sany resemblance of credibility and becomes a blood bath that cancels the previous 80% of good
police procedural. It's a weakness present also in the previous novel of the serie and in most of the american police procedurals. It looks like that if things don't go "western" in the ending people won't be satisfied. Anyway it's mostly a very good novel and I'm going to go on with the serie because I'm getting fond of Jack and her fellows.
