This book is different in that the entire story is told through e-mails, IM's, phone messages, notes and journal entries. I loved this book!! It is a spin off of The Boy Next Door, also by Meg Cabot. You don't need to read The Boy Next Door, however, some of the characters are the same and it adds to the fun if you have read it.
