I almost feel guilty about this one. It's considered a classic by many - some call it their favorite book ever. I almost feel guilty about this one. It's considered a classic by many - some call it their favorite book ever. It sounded so much like something I would enjoy, a fairy tale of sorts with a strong message. But I couldn't do it. I forced myself through about 3/4 of it before deciding it wasn't worth it. It's not that it isn't well-written. It just was not at all enjoyable - an unpleasant read.
