We ,,were born in the century of the refrigerator ", says the writer of Brodeck s report ,and so it is.
one could think, yet another book concerning the jews. and it is that, and more.
It seems to me, there is no enigma about preserving your own life, in the darwinian way, in the fight or fight situation.
evermore so often, it s fright, and it s human. ecce homo, in all his ravishing brutallity and selfishness, liable
to cheat and steal , and to act atrocious .
This book is no best seller, not a masterpiece, but its tone is beautiful and , as a side note, take a look
at the tale of the tailor wright at the end of the book, it is immensely exquisite and deserves your full attention..I personaly
hope I can and will write a story such as the above mentioned.
