Bill Martin has been devoted to writing children's books for more than thirty years. He has a Ph.D. in early childhood education and he has long been a proponent of using rhyme and rhythm to teach young children how to read.

Eric Carle, illustrator of many beloved children's books, was born in the United States, but spent his early years in Stuttgart, Germany, where he studied art and design at the Academy of Applied Art. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? was the first book he illustrated.

    Colour pictures + beautiful rhyming words = a must for small kids

  • Hypnotizing

    It is really catchy. I actually caught my self chanting it in the shower haha!
    It might not be as educational as other kids books but it is super intertaining and the illustrations are really nice. This will keep your kid occuiped for sure.

  • The first book that I can read all by myself. I love the rhymes with different colors and different animals. Thanks teacher Robert of introducing this book to us.

  • I had attended a science workshop at Mennies School. The presenter was very good (from Bridgeton, if I recall correctly). She really sparked my enthusiasm for science. I created a light/color unit in which I used this book.
