    This book gets completely overlooked, which is a shame because it's really great. William Blake's poems, Songs of Experience and Songs of Innocence provide the theme of this coming of age tale set in the late 1700's in London. All of Tracy Chevalier's novels are well researched, but I think this is my favorite in terms of plot and characterization.
