I wish I had been introduced to Sebastian Faulks' work before. His words flow on the paper seamlessly, like music. I adore not only the plot, I also relished how the author made me forget who I was and allowed me to truly be immersed in this world. ...Continua

Found the feeling of tender, urgent romance created by Faulks immensely enjoyable. The central character doesn't dominate the book - more of an ensemble piece where you find yourself caring about many of the characters. No easy happy endings, and
