When i was younger (before i went to med school), i used to think Robin Cook was a really good writer. It has been a few years since i have read another of his book. I am now quite appalled, how the hell did i fall in love with his style of writing?
Maybe it's because i know much more medical stuff now; the splatter of medical jargon Robin Cook used in this book is really quite shallow, and pointless. Did he think his audience are 3 year old kids that can be easily pacified with a lollipop??
I do not feel connected to the characters in the novel, and many countless times, i find the conversations the characters hold with one another are merely a way to get the story going. It's all very ridiculous, to the point of annoying. And there wasn't even an ending!...Continua
