  This is my second Hrabal book. Not as captivating as Too Loud A Solitude but still, I was absorbed in his unique style. Definitely will keep on tracking down more of his works.

  bought this in Prague, since i read another book of Hrabal earlier. i planned to buy his books before the trip. but unfortunately, this was one of the few selections available in the bookstore.   bought this in Prague, since i read another book of Hrabal earlier. i planned to buy his books before the trip. but unfortunately, this was one of the few selections available in the bookstore. (there were others, but i am english literate only!) after reading the book, i found out that the book is filmed years earlier. i found the DVD on amazon.com. months later, i watched the DVD and was once again stunned with the ending. now the chinese version of the book was released. i wanted to watch the movie again, but where is it? it seems that it's a not so closely watched DVD that i am repenting losing it.
