    This part of the series, made me fall in love with several of the characters. I gained a lot of respect for the main character Sookie Stakehouse who really holds on to her humanity but is indeed human with her "weeknesses". The quasi-villian-good guy Eric grows on you in the book and you can see a possible future of him being actually a good guy...well, for a vampire.

  • Another great Sookie Stackhouse book. I thought that they would lose their appeal after a couple of books but Harris continues to charm with her introduction of Supes southern style. Can't wait to read #4.

  • Another good one, though perhaps a bit over the top. Sookie certainly knows how to get in trouble. She's got a bunch of guys out to kill her, and quite a few that just want to be with her. Is Bill still her number one, and is he worth all this trouble?
