  • I read this all in one sitting. It reminded me of a fable, or a fairy tale. Really different book. I liked it.

  • I thought the story line was good, but couldn't get into the characters, I don't think this book had enough depth.

  • This is one of my favourite novels. Mainly because it is about food and love/romance.

  • Mexican Flavours

This is quite a gritty book filled with little conversations, wild women, weak men and interesting recipes. Read this not for a tourist guide, but perhaps for an exotic adventure in a Mexico that we may have never known of.
