The book describes lots of interesting technqiues used by civil servant to delay various polices, e.g. it lists out the 11 stages of formulating a policy. The skills described in the book, used by both politicans and civil servant, can really be put into practice

I am sure those who interested in politics will find the book extremely rewarding and entertaining. A must read.

However, this sequel is still marvellous. The heated banters and dialogues between the manipulative Sir Humphrey (Cabinet Secretary), the gullible Jim Hacker (Prime Minister) and the pedantic Bernard (Hacker's Private Secretary) are always a joy to read.

Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister are no doubt the best political satire in history.
