I had a great time reading this book; paranormal and ordinary - though borderline - life (which I like most) are perfectly mixed and balanced. The characters are outlined pretty well and the plot, rich in action and coups de theatre, literally kept me glued to the pages. Ward invented nothing new but definitely the pieces fit and the result is really entertaining. I would recommend this reading as enjoyable by all fans of the genre, especially those looking for more action and fantasy than sex and orgy details.
