This was a nice, enjoyable read. You cant help but love Danny, as he may be the sweetest boy alive! Its a good story and the moral of the story is all about being a wonderful parent even if you haven't a penny to your name. Dahl's books always have that innocent childlike feel to them and this one is no different. Just one bad point, poaching and killing birds and animals should not be portrayed to kids as a fun thing to do!
