Actually I did not re-read it, but I listened to the audiobook.
The personal History of David Copperfield was Dickens’ favourite amongst his novels and much of it is based on Dickens’ own life. This semi-autobiographical work displays Dickens at his best - wry, delicately ironic with a cast of characters both absurd and profound. It's a sentimental favorite of mine.
