This is an interesting book that tells you bits and pieces about the luxury fashion industry. To a fashion idiot like me, almost every detail is an eye-opener. It's a really informative book.
But it turns out that this book is not about the downfall of luxury fashion, as the title suggests. True, luxury used to be exclusive and now it has gone mass, but at the end of the book, author Dana Thomas writes with a positive tone, describing how luxury is still thriving, just not in the old sense.
