Okay, I had seen the movie way before I knew the book existed, but then I read back in 2003 and I liked it, but on a whim I decided to read it again in one night, and I fell in love with it. I actually had this whole new appreciation for its comical quips.

Aw this was just a lovely children's book. Its such a brilliant story its obvious why it was such a big hit with kids and remains a popular kids book to this day. Aw this was just a lovely children's book. Its such a brilliant story its obvious why it was such a big hit with kids and remains a popular kids book to this day. Big huge insects as your friends, living in a giant peach, flying to America by way of seagulls! I love it so why wouldn't a child! I don't have kids yet but I know that when I do they will all be Roald Dahl lovers if I have anything to do with it!
