I personally cannot focus on this book simply because the topics of Pan-Africa movement and the history of Acehbe are not my subject of interest. Chapters contained historical events, which assume reader to be exposed to a certain level of knowledge about the African history, and would be led to confusion if one has no such kind of background. I would highly recommend to those who are researchers of African literature and the avid readers of Achebe novel; the collections of Achebe's autobiographical essays amass to the contribution that Achebe has already devoted in his life, and enchanted those who want to explore Achebe's perspective and thought that he has on the future African literature and politics.
