  The book a teenaged Zafón would have liked reading, as he states in the preface. A book for youth, also appealing to adults who will identify some of the author's most typical atmospheres and suspend disbelief towards magic and supernatural... Strangely enough, a youth book has the least happy end I have ever found in a work of Zafón's!
  Personal experience: Being originally addressed to children and thanks to its fluent and clear style, El príncipe de la niebla is the ideal text for Spanish learners wishing to improve their reading skills!
