Engleby is one of the most uncomfortable books I have read in a long time. Partly because it is impossible to believe it is a Sebastian Faulks novel, and partly because of it's subject matter. I found this title rather different to the previous novels I have read by Sebastian Faulks in that this one is a thriller which initially surprised me.
