Book Description
Guy Montag was a fireman whose job it was to start fires...
The system was simple. Everyone understood it. Books were for burning...along with the houses in which they were hidden.
Guy Montag enjoyed his job. He had been a fireman for ten years, and he had never questioned the pleasure of the midnight runs nor the joy of watching pages consumed by flames...never questioned anything until he met a seventeen-year-old girl who told him of a past when people were not afraid.
Then he met a professor who told him of a future in which people could think...and Guy Montag suddenly realized what he had to do!

This is a fabulous book. I have read it twice and loaned it out many times. I have yet to meet the person who dislikes it.
50th Anniversary Edition
Another interesting "futuristic" novel that has its timeless value. It is all about media control. People is imposed with the selective knowledge to deprive their thinking.
If you like "the giver" and "1984" you'll get this book. Not as good as those two, but the same concept. This is in a time where firemen burn books to keep people under control. They don't have anything else to burn since everything is fireproof.
I think that everyone should read this book at least once. If not, several times. This is in my top 5 favorite books of all-time!
