  • History meeting novel...and not so bad a union after all.
    Being the first Follet's book I read I have no idea of the style of the author, but I can say that when there are so many characters it's probably best focusing on the story rather than on the protagonists.

    I loved the first half the book, then the descriptions of the war and the revolution became a little bit too detailed for me.
