  • Roald Dahl has yet to write a book that isn't pleasant, funny, and enjoyable (how many times do I use that word when writing this stuff?). Fantastic Mr. Fox is another delightful book by this wonderful author. Children (but also adolescents and adults) will love it (and RD too).

    I found this kids book in my morning cereal. Much shorter than I remembered it, it fails to fully develop its case for the extra-legal redistribution of wealth proportional to need and oppression.

    It was surprising to note that whilst the animals speech and behaviours are anthropomorphised, at no point in the text itself is there any reference to them wearing clothes.

  • This was one of my favorite books as a child. The clever Mr. Fox working to outsmart the farmers. Makes you hanker for some chicken!

  • I have read this with both fourth and fifth graders. It is a lighthearted read. It provides high interest for the students.
