  I wish this was an opend universe in which other autors could contribute stories.
  I found the way Vinge structures the Internet of the future to hold up pretty well for a book written in the early 90s. The zones of thought I found to be an absolutely introducing universe and the book left me wishing dearly that vinge expanded it further. Are other galaxies similarly structured as out own? What entities lurk beyond the transcend and the powers? What are the origins of the blight, the countermeasure and the zones?
