Quite enjoyable and very different from the TV series, although the basic plot is the same. Definitely worth reading if you're into the TV version.

  • I read the book since I was so curious about a tv series really good.

Even if the idea it's terrific, the novel it's poor and I didn't enjoy it at all.

My biggest gripe was the author's overuse of the word "doubtless" - it drove me crazy! A good concept, but too scientific for me.

  • The idea behind "Flashforward" is just terrific but the book tends to deal more with the personal un-interesting lifes of leading characters who are passing time chewing themselves into little mental bits.

A book that deserves to be read but far away from the masterpiece definition

  • If you like this book

try Spin by Robert Charles Wilson. It is similar in terms of dealing with a scientific oddity/catastrophe and the social implications that followed.
