This book was slow to build its case and in a way I kind of understand why and what the author was trying to do - to build a fairly complex plot to keep the readers guessing. Unfortunately all the mindless tit-tat in the beginning made for an agonizing read. The pace picked up considerably towards the later sections and things got more exciting. I reckon this is a mix of Kathy Reichs and John Grisham towards the end. Much better than Patricia Cornwell whose books I cannot trust myself to get through.
