I think this book was talked up too much for me, but still worth reading. It's an incredible true story about some airmen in World War II and their capture by the Japanese. It was fascinating, informative, and a little depressing all at the same time. More of a story of how low humanity can sink rather than how high we can reach (although it does have aspects of the latter as well)....Continua
Victory is built on the miseries of both warring sides.
I don't understand why the author referred all American airmen just as Flyboys instead of telling the readers those airmen's ranks before their surnames.
