I enjoyed this version of "King Lear" as told by the Fool, with various cameos from other plays (witches from "Macbeth"). I especially liked Pocket's interactions with Lear and Cordelia.
A twist on the tragedy of King Lear. A croque-jambe to the storytelling of Shakespeare. Christopher Moore has clout! Wickedly brilliant.
A humorous and obscure novel about King Lear. i loved it. Christopher Moore is my fave!!!!!
Christopher Moore's version of "King Lear" from the viewpoint of the jester. Of course, being by Christopher Moore, it was funny and profane (more profane than Shakespeare himself). I imagine if you are a serious Shakespeare buff you might really love it. For me it was just okay....Continua
