Huge improvement...

As good as the first in the series (Odd Thomas), what an adrenaline-pumping page-turner! The scenes at the hotel (2nd half of the book) were just amazing; I was hooked until I finished the story at 2:30 am...

This one really lacked the charm and fun of the first book. I was pretty bummed by it. I'm still going to read the next Odd book but I'm hoping it will be an improvement over this one.

Dean Koontz makes some interesting characters.
