Forever in Blue : The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood (Sisterhood of Traveling Pants)Blog this item
    • This last book wraps the series up nicely in an unexpected way. I think this one was my favorite out of all of the books, and guess what? Carmen finally grows up a bit, so she wasn't on my nerves as much. LOL

    • A good conclusion to the series, however for some reason this installment didn't quite appeal to me on the same level as the first three. I enjoyed the movie (which was based largely on this book) more.

    • I thought that this book could have been ended better...seriously...the pants get lost? I understand the characters needed to move on, but it seems like losing the pants was an easy out

    • Other than Carmen's story which was so-so, this book finished the saga out perfectly. Oh and Kostos/Lena fans have nothing to worry about. :smile smile:

How did it disappear?Quotes, Questions & Commentsp.43 [Lena observes Leo for the first time] Desire was just the dumbest thing. You wanted what you wanted until it was yours. Then you didn't want it anymore. You took what you had for granted until it was no longer yours. This, it seemed to her [Lena], was one of the crueler paradoxes of human nature.-Have you ever wanted an event to occur or to get something, but once it happened or you got it it didn't seem as desirable? What are your thoughts on this situation? Why do we feel this way?**SPOILER**A fitting conclusion, I suppose. A few loose ends were tied-up while a couple more were added, but not big enough to compell Brashares to write more in the series--especially since the pants are gone. A sad, but fitting conclusion.
