Everybody has his/her own role in society. Some are good at 'practical' stuff like building houses, how to grow food etc. Some are good at nurturing others by their creativity and talents. Frederick is the latter. When everybody was busy doing 'practical things' (storing food and stuff for the cold Winter), Frederick seemed to be doing nothing. But when the long Winter comes, when all the food is gone, Frederick started sharing with his fellow mice his 'special collection'. He shared with them the poems that he learnt, he shared the colours that he remembered off by heart...And it's until then, they realised the power of creativity and the power of art and literature. It's until then they learnt to appreciate Frederick.
This story is just awesome. Simple but warm, short but deep....Continua
