This is one of the best Science Fiction I've ever read. You have to read Daemon first, which is also great, but this one is magnificent. More than a sequel, this is actually the second half of a book (the first half being Daemon, of course): it would not make sense to read this without having read the first one.
As such, is also less surprising than the first part, as the story, the characters and the main twist are all introduced in Daemon.
But this is just what you want to read as soon as you put Daemon down, and it's as intriguing, exciting and rewarding as the first part.
Just as good, if not better than, the original Daemon. This is well-written cyberpunk with a tech-guy twist. You keep reading because you want to know whatever new gadgets will be displayed next.
