Love this book! It's a lot of common sense and no, DON'T DIET, it's not going to work in the long run. Learn the secrets of French women and reap the benefits of eating seasonally, having controlled portions, eating what you want, and savouring food - as we should - and never thinking of eating as a "sin"....Continua
the book title sounds like a typical american know-how book, but the author is french, though she lives in the US for years...it's an interesting read, giving us us a glimpse of the french way of living and dinning, and there're some mouth-watering recipes included. 'yogurt without yogurt maker', leek soup and banguette...and many more! bon appetite!...Continua
French women eat everything, only less... Oh, and they take the stairs and walk instead of drive. When you're reading about it, it all seems quite easy, but just try practising it when you're on holiday in the States and are waylaid by muffins and pastrami sandwiches every step of the way!
Nevertheless, I try to eat more healthily without depriving myself and drink lots of water after reading this book.
If you are not satisfied with your body, read this. It makes dieting much easier.
It also unlocks the secrets of the always slim and beautiful French women.
