I don't know if this book got over hyped for me or what, but I wasn't really crazy about it. I didn't feel like the characters were all that interesting and the writing wasn't great. It also felt like the author was just adding stuff in as she went along... now there are wererats.. now ghouls... now weird spell enchantment thingies to keep people alive... I'm not big into that kind of writing style. I don't see myself reading more of this series, but who knows :)
