Not bad. This is rather different from the average zombie story - the evil resides strictly with the living. The setting is suitably bleak and the undead make for a pretty depressed bunch. Which is perhaps unsurprising.

I didn't really enjoy this book as much as I thought I would.
The beginning is interesting enough, also the ending, but it's definitely not what I expected and still expect from a zombie novel.
