    • I love this series. Rowling does such a fine job of creating characters you can really care about. I'm actually going to miss these guys now that the series is done.

    • My only suggestion is to not even think about picking up this book unless you have a big block of time set aside. It is crazy addicting, like crack for your eyeballs.

    • My Thoughts
    • I didn't love the ending of this book, but the book was so hard to put down, to know that the adventure would end. My favorite character will always be Snape!

This book has connected to the previous book tightly. A lot of plots were trying to explain why things were going so unexpectedly, and they ended up with some, though reasonable, entertaining arguments.

Overall the book was pretty boring for the three quarters, and it comes to an end like most of the detective story: reveal everything to make sense of it.

The epilogue is a good one that tries to prevent anyone to write a sequel of HP.

    • Not my favorite in the series
    • but pretty good. It's dark, of course...plenty of death, which makes it sad. I will say that the very end was so predictably cheesy. Of course so-and-so and so-and-so-had to get married and have kids with the names that they had, but anyway...

Book Description

Harry has been burdened with a dark, dangerous and seemingly impossible task: that of locating and destroying Voldemort's remaining Horcruxes. Never has Harry felt so alone, or faced a future so full of shadows. But Harry must somehow find within himself the strength to complete the task he has been given. He must leave the warmth, safety and companionship of The Burrow and follow without fear or hesitation the inexorable path laid out for him.

In his final, seventh installment of the Harry Potter series, J. K. Rowling unveils in spectacular fashion the answers to the many questions that have been so eagerly awaited. The spellbinding, richly woven narrative, which plunges, twists and turns at a breathtaking pace, confirms the author as a mistress of storytelling, whose books will be read, reread and read again.
