  I purchased the ebook which includes updates (cover Android 1.5), i do not recommend paper edition as it is probably outdated.

  A useful kick start, but you cannot get too far away with this introductory book.

  I purchased the ebook which includes updates (cover Android 1.5), i do not recommend paper edition as it is probably outdated.

  Remember many parts of the book is still being updated. For example UI tasks that are done using Executor, Runnable and Handlers, which could be simpler with AsyncTask.
