But Prelude to Dune - House Atreides is nice, well written and coherent with Frank Herbert's vision. It tries to bring back the plot within a plot scheme of the first part of Dune and the result is acceptable. Unfortunately it doesn't expand the "vision" theme (e.g. Hasimir Fenring in Dune was a failed K Haderach, in House Atreides he looks like just a smart assassin and politician).
