  ... I clearly remember they published an excerpt of it on the long-defunct weekly magazine IL CORRIERE DEI RAGAZZI, and I got so spooked that I went to the library and borrowed a copy. It's a children's book, about wizards, kind of Harry Potter-ish, but absolutely EERIE in parts. I then read it again twenty years later as a grown-up and i still think it's scary. Oddly enough, it's probably the only book I ever read which is scarier in translation than in the original (I own both). Totally recommended to Harry Potter lovers.
