I was coming from Erica Sadun's book. I was really depressed, questioning my real possibilities of becoming an iPhone developer, having a real hard time in understanding even the basics.
Then I stumbled on this book, and it was a revelation.
It also assumes you have Objective C knowledge, but it's so perfect in walking you hand in hand through MVC model and iPhone specifics, that you find yourself writing code without remembering at what stage you've learnt how to do it. It gives you a complete overview of SDK possibilities, plenty of easy to understand examples covering the main features, including CoreLocation and Open GL.
I would put it on the same level of Hillegass works, such is easy and fun to read.
Suggested to everyone new to the platform, definitely a must for beginners.
