Growing up I thought DC comic books were one dimensional. Some of the art work was good, but mostly it was hackneyed and uninspired. It appeared the work of a corporation, not of artists. Identity Crisis is a tour de force which for me redefined the DC universe. The characters, though super heroes, are human at their core. They face and deal with hard choices. The story line is excellent and spans the decades, tying together heroes and villains.
