I went back and finished this book. I couldn't stay away even though I felt disappointed about what I have recently heard in the media about Amy Fisher. I was saddened to learn that her husband would exploit her by releasing their personal video tapes thus creating yet another media scandal for Amy. After finishing this book, I truly believe she has made an effort to make amends for her horrible mistakes. She seems to be trying to make a positive difference society and commit herself to helping others in various ways. I was also disappointed to learn that she recently went on TV to face Joey and I didn't understand why she would subject herself to that. Anything to do with that man can only result negatively. After learning about what her husband did with the tapes, I don't care what his reasons may have been, I just feel Amy has horrible luck with men. Regardless of the recent negative media, I hope Amy is able to move on and find piece in her life for herself and her children.
